Job summary

Tesco is seeking a Shift Lead to drive in-store operations and deliver outstanding customer service. You will lead a team, mentor colleagues, and act as a pivotal point for daily queries, across all store areas.

We welcome flexible working discussions; you must be 18 or over. Roles include minimum 16 hours per week with some locations offering more, and a baseline hourly pay starting at 15.59, rising to 16.86 in certain stores.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a retail team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to motivate and coach colleagues towards excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Leading the team to deliver a great in-store experience for customers.
• Coaching colleagues, giving feedback and role modelling great service.
• Working across all areas of the store and with colleagues to resolve queries.
• Be the go-to person for day-to-day operational queries.
• Leading the store in the manager's absence and making flexible, balanced decisions.
