Compass Group UK&I is seeking a dedicated Team Leader to ensure smooth operations on a 40-hour week within a major High Street brand. The role includes supervising frontline staff, managing till operations and rotas, and supporting the manager to drive performance.

You will check deliveries, handle stock orders, uphold food hygiene and safety standards, and foster a positive team environment. A proactive, customer‑focused individual will thrive, with growth opportunities and a strong benefits

Qualifications

• Previous experience supervising frontline teams.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
• Willingness to work 5 days out of 7.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly.
• Supervise a team and foster a welcoming, supportive environment.
• Act as a responsible key holder.
• Operate the till, take orders and process payments.
• Support weekly bookwork and assist with duties as needed.
• Produce weekly rotas following manager guidelines.
• Place stock orders to maintain correct levels.
• Delegate tasks and keep the team proactive.
• Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Ensure Health & Safety compliance.
