Job summary

Prezzo Italian is looking for a Duty Manager to own the shift, open and close the restaurant, and lead the team to deliver exceptional hospitality. You'll focus on floor leadership, guest experience, and maintaining high standards as you work with the GM to develop your management career within Brava Hospitality Group's restaurant brands across the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team on the floor in busy, guest-focused hospitality.
• Calm under pressure with a full restaurant on Saturday night.
• People-first approach; lead by example and support your team.
• Pride in food and exceptional hospitality; attention to detail.
• Ambition to grow into restaurant management.
• Good working knowledge of food safety, licensing and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Run pre-shift briefings to align the team.
• Lead from the floor, setting pace and hospitality standards.
• Coach the team and spot individuals ready for more.
• Open/close the restaurant, manage cash, tills and stock.
• Keep labour on track and hand over to the next shift.
• Ensure food safety, allergen procedures, H&S and licensing compliance.
