Job summary

Perrins Hall Care Home in Malvern is seeking a Shift Leader who is hardworking, compassionate and committed to delivering person-centred care to residents. You will lead a team of care assistants, assist with personal care, activities, meals, and maintain accurate records while pursuing ongoing professional development.

This role requires NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it) and offers a full-time days contract with weekend alternation, a comprehensive induction, DBS and

Responsibilities

• Providing physical and mental stimulation for residents by taking part in social and recreational activities, on a one-to-one and group basis
• Assisting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing
• Assisting with mealtimes
• Ensuring residents' independence, dignity and respect, by delivering the very best person-centred care
• Helping to maintain accurate records
• Undertaking regular ongoing training
• Developing relationships with our residents and their families in order to gain a better understanding of how to provide the best possible care
• Reviews with external health professionals
• Lead the team of care assistants
• Administer medication

• Providing physical and mental stimulation for residents by taking part in social and recreational activities, on a one-to-one and group basis
