Job summary

Caffè Nero is looking for a Shift Leader to help run store operations and deliver brilliant service in Newcastle upon Tyne. You’ll lead the team on shift and ensure every order is prepared with care, from coffee to seasonal drinks.

Training is provided, and you’ll have opportunities to develop personally and professionally while contributing to a friendly customer experience. Starter rates for Shift Leaders in this location start at £12.76 per hour, increasing to £12.91 with service.

Qualifications

• Ideally have experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader.
• No coffee experience required; brilliant training provided.

• Are charge of the shift, leading their team by example.
• Make fantastic coffee… and matcha… and seasonal drinks… every order is special!
  From bean to cup, they make each customer their coffee, exactly how they like it!
• Provide great service, both in store and through deliveries. With our signature 1-2-1 service style, they ensure customers leave with a personalised experience.
• Keep the customer and back-of-house areas safe, clean, organised and ready for service. Some examples would be cleaning tables or ensuring toilets are kept to the high standards our customers expect.
• Take pride in what they do and always strive for excellence!

To become a Shift Leader, ideally you will have some experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader – but if you haven’t got that don’t worry, we’d still love to hear from you.
