Job summary

Company Shop Group is seeking a Shift Lead to manage the store on shift, lead colleagues, and ensure high standards of service and operations in Washington. You will drive daily activities, maintain stock, cash handling, and safety, while delivering an excellent member experience.

The role is 20 hours per week, with shifts across early mornings and weekends. The salary is £28,500 per year, pro-rata for part-time hours, with a range of benefits including store discounts and pension contributions.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a retail environment.
• Strong delivery of customer service and store standards.
• Understanding of key retail KPIs and daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead colleagues on shift and set clear expectations.
• Open and close the store and manage daily activities.
• Ensure replenishment, waste, cash handling and hygiene are maintained.
• Deliver a consistent member experience and handle queries effectively.
• Promote safety and report near misses or incidents.
