Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland is seeking a Shift Lead for the Droitwich Dairy, a permanent, full-time role in the Process Department. You will lead and coach a high-performing team, driving operational excellence while upholding safety, quality, service and cost performance.

You will develop individuals, mentor frontline colleagues, and deliver continuous improvement initiatives that support business objectives. Strong leadership and stakeholder skills are essential to succeed in this fast-paced

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a Food Manufacturing, FMCG or Production environment.
• Strong people management and coaching capabilities.
• Experience managing performance, development and employee relations matters.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Ability to engage, motivate and develop teams to achieve outstanding results.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience of continuous improvement tools and methodologies would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team to deliver operational targets.
• Create and implement development plans for staff growth.
• Coach and mentor frontline colleagues to improve performance.
• Manage performance, engagement, attendance and ER matters.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement through OE principles.
• Identify opportunities to eliminate waste and optimise processes.
• Apply PDCA and root-cause analysis to solve problems.
