Job summary

Müller in Severnside is seeking a Chill Shift Lead to develop a high-performing team and empower our people to meet targets and improve performance. The role focuses on coaching, succession planning, and implementing OE initiatives aligned to OGSM.

Responsibilities include coaching frontline staff, applying PDCA to solve problems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance safety and efficiency. This is a full-time, permanent on-site position with a 4 on/4 off shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a shift or team in manufacturing/food production.
• Strong coaching and mentorship skills with ability to develop others.
• Experience applying PDCA to drive improvements and waste reduction.

Responsibilities

• Develop development plans via LMS for the team.
• Create succession pathways across the organisation.
• Lead problem solving and facilitate improvements.
• Visit workstations to identify issues and implement fixes.
• Coach frontline team members to enable problem solving.
• Apply PDCA to drive real-time improvements.
• Drive OE opportunities aligned with OGSM.
• Encourage opportunities for OE projects and ownership.
• Deliver OE initiatives and be recognised for them.
• Promote continuous improvement within the workplace.
• Manage performance reviews, development, and employee relations.
• Collaborate with other teams to improve the business.
• Demonstrate Health & Safety commitment and corrective actions.
