Job summary

GXO Logistics in Bridgwater is seeking a Shift Lead to join the HPC project team. You will oversee warehouse operations, ensuring items are received, prepared, and dispatched safely while leading and motivating your team to deliver results.

The role is permanent, full-time, Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts from 6am to 6pm. Competitive rate of pay and career opportunities within a major infrastructure programme.

• Previous supervisory or team leader experience in warehouse/logistics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a team of operatives across the J24 Asset Warehouse, MLC Warehouse, and project teams
• Ensure accurate receipt, preparation, and dispatch of items for the HPC build
• Monitor quality checks and compliance standards for safe storage and transport
• Manage workflow and priorities to meet operational targets and deadlines
• Act as the first point of contact for your team, providing guidance and resolving issues quickly
