Job summary

B&Q Warrington is seeking a Shift Lead to oversee store shifts, ensure smooth operations and a safe shopping environment. This keyholder role requires leading teams, allocating staff to meet customer demand, and serving as the main point of contact for colleagues and customers.

The role operates on a 5am–9pm range, with a permanent contract, and a full-time equivalent salary of £27,709.50 per year plus pension and generous holiday entitlement.

This is a keyholder position, with shifts ranging from an earliest start time of 5am to a latest finish time of 9pm

What's the job?

Your role as a Shift Lead is pivotal in ensuring a safe working and shopping environment. You’re the person who will oversee your shift to cultivate a great experience for both colleagues and customers daily. It’s B&Q’s ambition to make every customer count, so you’ll strive to ensure B&Q is a place colleagues love to work, and customers love to shop. In this role you will:

• Be the heartbeat of the store day-to-day and ensure operations are running smoothly.
• Make sure colleagues are deployed correctly to ‘make every customer count’ throughout your shift.
• Be the first point of contact for customers and colleagues.
• Make sure our stores are safe at all times.
