Qualifications

• 2+ years of job-related experience in manufacturing.
• Apprenticeship in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with preventative and planned maintenance.
• Ability to assist with breakdowns and line conversions.
• Excellent communication skills; able to explain processes clearly.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Complies with safety practices and directives for safe work performance.
• Supports food safety system guidelines.
• Operates, adjusts, and repairs production and support equipment to meet specifications.
• Performs preventative maintenance on equipment as required.
• Replenishes supplies, materials, and parts for the area.
• Maintains tools and starts up procedures for area of responsibility.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships within the department.
