Job summary

Ball Corporation in Kettering, England is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to join the production team. You will support plant production goals, participate in lean initiatives, and help maintain a safe, efficient work area.

Shifts are 8.5 hours, six days on with varying early/late/night schedules; no manufacturing background required, but clear communication and attention to detail are essential. Training on processes and quality checks will be provided, and you'll collaborate with team leaders

• Initiate and support lean and improvement initiatives.
• Perform on-the-job training for other personnel.
• 8.5-hour shifts, rotating earlies, lates, and nights.

Position overview

As the Manufacturing Operator, you’re a key member of the Kettering Team, reporting to the Production Team Leader. You will contribute to the success of Ball by performing tasks and providing services to support the plant’s production goals and overall business plans.

The Shift pattern

6 days on (2 morning, 2 afternoon, 2 night shifts) - 8.5 hours per shift. 4 days off.

Your key responsibilities include
