Job summary

The Royal National, part of Imperial London Hotels, is seeking a skilled Shift Engineer or Property Maintenance professional to oversee daily maintenance and ensure guest rooms are presented immaculately.

You will join a dedicated team, applying essential trade skills to maintain high safety and quality standards across our Bloomsbury hotels. Two years of experience and a relevant trade qualification are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in Property Maintenance or similar role.
• A relevant trade qualification or training.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive approach to maintaining high standards of safety and functionality.
• Team player who thrives in a busy environment.
• Experience with maintenance management systems.

Shift Engineer / Property Maintenance at The Royal National

40 hours a week (5/7 days a week Flexibility is required)

• Are you a skilled Shift Engineer or Property Maintenance Officer?
• Are you passionate about prioritising health, safety, and efficiency in everything you do?

We're seeking a Trade Specialist to join our dedicated property maintenance team.

As an essential member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing various daily maintenance tasks, ensuring that guest bedrooms are well-maintained and consistently presented in immaculate condition.

What we’re looking for:

Essential Skills:

• 2 years experience in Property Maintenance or similar role.
• A relevant trade qualification or training
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive approach to maintaining high standards of safety and functionality.
• Team player who thrives in a busy environment.
• Experience with maintenance management systems.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Desirable Skills (Not required but a plus):

• Certifications in Facilities Management, Health & Safety, or related fields.
• Experience with energy management and sustainability initiatives.
• Multi-site management experience.
