Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Shift Electrician/Electrical Engineer in Hounslow (Heathrow area) to perform electrical safety checks, reactive repairs and planned maintenance on a 12‑hour shift pattern (4 on, 4 off, followed by 4 nights). The role requires Level 2/3 electrical installation qualifications and a full UK driving licence.

You will work as part of a team across the client site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining clear records using IT systems.

Qualifications

• IT literate with strong customer service skills.
• Full, valid UK driving licence.
• Experience in facilities management or mobile maintenance (construction sector preferred).
• Level 2/3 electrical installation qualifications required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical safety checks and reactive repair works.
• Deliver planned preventative maintenance in line with site schedules.
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety requirements and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation using IT systems.

Role Responsibilities:

-Carry out electrical safety checks and reactive repair works

-Deliver planned preventative maintenance in line with site schedules

-Ensure full compliance with health & safety requirements and statutory building regulations

-Maintain accurate records and documentation using IT systems

-Support preventative maintenance programmes through inspections and ongoing monitoring

Required Qualifications:Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.

-Level 2 or Level 3 City & Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation

-17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

-Full, valid UK driving licence

-IT literate with strong customer service skills

-Experience within facilities management or mobile maintenance (construction sector preferred)
