Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Shift Electrical Engineer to maintain building plant and electrical systems, ensuring reliability and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

You will work a 4 on 4 off pattern (days and nights) in Hounslow, delivering high-quality service, prioritising safety, and following CAFM processes with accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Proactive, self-motivated with strong safety awareness.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good IT skills with understanding of CAFM systems.
• Inquisitive mindset with ability to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant and equipment for building M&E systems.
• Complete planned and reactive works in line with contract and legal requirements.
• Deliver high-quality service and uphold safety standards.
• Manage workload, prioritise tasks, and document accurately on time.
• Adhere to policies and Health & Safety requirements, including training.

Role Responsibilities:

• -Maintain plant and equipment associated with the building's mechanical and electrical systems.
• -Complete both planned and reactive works efficiently and in line with contract and legal requirements.
• -Deliver a high‑quality service and uphold strong safety standards.
• -Manage workload effectively, prioritising tasks appropriately and completing documentation accurately and on time.
• -Adhere to all policies, procedures, and Health & Safety requirements, including participation in training and appraisals.

Required Qualifications:

• -Qualified engineering background - C&G 2392 or an equivalent technical qualification.
• -Proactive, self‑motivated individual with strong safety awareness.
• -Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• -Good IT skills with understanding of CAFM systems.
• -Inquisitive and challenging mindset with the ability to work within a rotating shift pattern.
