Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Shift Electrician/Electrical Engineer to join our team at Hounslow/Heathrow. The role covers both planned preventive maintenance and reactive works across the client site, with 12-hour shifts (4 days on, 4 off, followed by 4 nights).

You will perform electrical safety checks, maintain records, and ensure adherence to health and safety standards while delivering reliable service under SLAs.

Qualifications

• Level 2/3 City & Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
• 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Full, valid UK driving licence.
• IT literate with strong customer service skills.
• Experience within facilities management or mobile maintenance (construction sector preferred).

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical safety checks and reactive repair works.
• Deliver planned preventative maintenance in line with site schedules.
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety requirements and statutory building regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation using IT systems.
• Support preventative maintenance programmes through inspections and ongoing monitoring.
