Job summary

Equans is looking for a Shift Electrical Craftsperson to join our team based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 39.375 hours per week. This is based on a shift rota working 2 days on (7am-7pm) then 2 nights on (7pm-7am) then 4 days off.

Qualifications

• Electrical installation apprenticeship completed with wiring regs knowledge.
• Proven electrical installation qualifications and DBS clearance.
• Full driving licence and ability to pass DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain NHS services and facilities to required standards.
• Support stakeholders such as NHS trusts as required.
• Carry out works in line with Equans KPIs.
• Use CAFM and digital tools to manage and review workloads.
• Manage AP/CP appointments for estates team support.

Summary

Equans is looking for a Shift Electrical Craftsperson to join our team based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham on a permanent basis. What will you deliver?

• Undertake any reasonable duties to maintain all services to the NHS client
• Provide management support to stakeholders such as University Hospitals Birmingham and Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trusts where instructed/required
• Carry out all works in compliance with Equans KPI's
• Manage individually assigned work effectively to ensure site performance via use of CAFM systems and other digital based management tools is accurate when reviewed by management
• Achieve, manage and maintain AP/CP appointments in disciplines as requested by estates management team to support the contract where required and appropriate

Who are you?

• Electrical Installation - Approved apprenticeship with either:
  • Base electrical qualifications C&G Part A & B
  • City & Guild 236 Part 1 & 2
  • City & Guilds 2330 / 2365 levels 2 & 3 Diploma
  • EAL Electrical installation QCF Diploma levels 1, 2 & 3 (601/0409/0 & 600/6724/X & 600/9331/6)
  • EAL Level 3 Electrotechnical NVQ or C & G 2357 level 3 NVQ
• AM218th Edition of the Wiring Regulations C& G 2382-18
• Driving licence
• This role includes a DBS Standard check therefore ability to pass is essential.
