MCS Group are working with a leading Engineering company, to recruit a SHEQ Manager to join their award winning team.

SHEQ Manager
Location: Limavady or Cookstown
Full-Time | Permanent | 35-40 hours per week (Negotiable)

Are you an experience SHEQ Advisor looking to make the step into Management?

Our client, a well-established leader in the engineering and construction sector, is seeking a SHEQ Manager to oversee and drive Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality (SHEQ) performance across their operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation that values continuous improvement, innovation, and compliance.

As the SHEQ Manager, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategic SHEQ initiatives while ensuring standards are met across multiple project sites. You'll work closely with senior management, project teams, and external stakeholders to promote a safe, sustainable, and high-quality working environment.

Duties;

• Develop and lead the SHEQ strategy in alignment with business goals

• Conduct internal/external audits, manage ISO certifications (9001, 14001, 45001)

• Oversee health & safety compliance across office, workshop, and site operations

• Perform risk assessments, incident investigations, and ensure documentation (RAMS, toolbox talks, permits) is up to date

• Monitor and manage environmental impacts, ensuring regulatory and client standards are met

• Maintain Quality Management Systems and lead quality assurance efforts across projects

• Collaborate with project teams to integrate SHEQ into planning and delivery phases

• Provide SHEQ training and maintain accurate competency and training records

Essential:

• SHEQ experience in engineering or construction environments

• Solid understanding of UK SHEQ legislation and international standards

• Proven track record of managing SHEQ on active sites
