Job summary

United Infrastructure Ltd is seeking a SHEQ Advisor to support England & Wales projects with a strong site presence and regular travel between offices and live sites.

You will advise on CDM 2015, conduct site inspections, review RAMS and promote a culture of safety and continual improvement across construction activities. This role requires active frontline engagement and timely risk-based interventions.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Working knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and CDM 2015.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent health and safety advice to project and operational teams.
• Support implementation of the project’s Construction Phase Plan and SHEQ arrangements.
• Undertake regular site inspections, audits, assurance activities and behavioural safety engagements.
• Review RAMS and safe systems of work, challenging where controls are insufficient.
• Promote workforce engagement and “Don’t Walk By” behaviours; stop-work authority where needed.
• Support CDM 2015 compliance and coordination between client, principal designer, principal contractor and contractors.
• Deliver toolbox talks and SHEQ campaigns with frontline staff.
