Job summary
United Infrastructure is seeking an experienced SHEQ Advisor to provide practical, site-based Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality support across live construction and infrastructure projects. You will work closely with project teams, site management and subcontractors to ensure work is delivered safely and in line with legislation and client requirements.
The role requires NEBOSH General or Construction certification, knowledge of UK health and safety law including CDM 2015, and hands-on
Qualifications
- NEBOSH General or NEBOSH Construction certification required.
- Working knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and CDM 2015.
- Experience in a SHEQ/health and safety role within construction, utilities, infrastructure or engineering.
- Experience working on live construction sites and performing inspections.
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Strong incident investigation support and RAMS review experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide health and safety advice to project teams.
- Carry out site inspections, audits and assurance activities.
- Review RAMS and safe systems of work.
- Support CDM 2015 compliance and Construction Phase Plans.
- Support environmental inspections and incident investigations.
- Assist with project quality requirements, ITPs and NCRs.
- Deliver toolbox talks and SHEQ campaigns.
- Monitor subcontractor SHEQ performance.
- Track corrective actions and continual improvement.
