Job summary

Ipsum is seeking a Senior SHEQ Advisor to lead health, safety, environmental and quality practices across a portfolio of infrastructure projects. You will ensure compliance with CDM 2015, embed best practices on site and coach teams to achieve continuous improvement.

Based across nationwide sites, this role requires a proactive, hands-on leader who can drive proactive hazard identification and robust safety culture within a growing contractor environment.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH-qualified with proven SHEQ experience in infrastructure, civil engineering, utilities or construction.
• Strong knowledge of CDM 2015 duties for PC/PD.
• Experience developing and reviewing Pre-Construction Information and Construction Phase Plans.
• Proven ability to conduct site audits, inspections and compliance reviews.
• Skilled at coaching project teams to embed a positive safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance across PC/PD obligations and CDM compliance.
• Conduct regular site visits and audits to verify control measures across UK projects.
• Represent SHEQ in client meetings, reviews and audits, maintaining client relationships.
• Coach site teams to move safety from tick-box to everyday practice.
• Assist in incident investigations, root cause analyses and safety campaigns.
