Job summary

United Infrastructure Group is seeking an experienced Senior SHEQ Advisor to join our Social Infrastructure team in the UK. You will lead SHEQ activities, guide operations, and mentor SHEQ Advisors to drive safer practices and quality across major projects.

You will support policy implementation, manage incidents and audits, and collaborate with clients and subcontractors to strengthen risk management, environmental stewardship and continuous improvement across sites.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or NEBOSH Construction Certificate required.
• NEBOSH Diploma or Level 6 NVQ in Occupational Health & Safety advantageous.
• IOSH Membership (CMIOSH or working towards) preferred.
• Environmental or Quality Management qualifications would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Champion a proactive and positive SHEQ culture across multiple projects and workstreams.
• Support implementation of company policies, procedures and strategic SHEQ objectives.
• Act as deputy to the SHEQ Manager when required and provide coaching to SHEQ Advisors.
• Serve as first point of contact for SHEQ Advisors within designated workstreams and support operational teams with SHEQ issues.
• Lead incident, near miss and non-conformance investigations and identify root causes.
