Job summary

BDS Recruitment in Romford is recruiting a Sheltered Housing Scheme Manager to support residents who live independently in the Scheme. The role is 36 hours per week, delivered Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, with potential temp-to-perm for the right candidate.

Duties include welfare and health and safety checks, signposting information, organizing activities and reporting repairs. An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months (or on the update service) is required.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check dated within the last 12 months.
• Experience supporting older adults in sheltered or supported housing is ideal.
• Ability to conduct welfare and health/safety checks.
• Strong communication and signposting skills.
• Reputable organisational abilities to arrange activities and report repairs.

Sheltered Housing Scheme Manager

Here at BDS Recruitment we are looking to recruit for an ongoing position as a Sheltered Housing Scheme Manager based in the Romford area.

This role is 36 hours per week.

This will be delivered Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

This is a potential temp ongoing role to start ASAP

Pay rate- £15.95ph PAYE- £20.61ph UMB

The main role is to provide daily communication with the residents, who live independently within the Scheme, and you will be responsible for assessing resident’s daily needs, and signposting information. There will also be regular welfare checks, health and safety checks on the building and reporting and repairs.

You must hold an Enhanced DBS check dated in the last 12 months or on the update service.

Role Summary:

• 36 hours per week (To be delivered between Mon, Tue and Wed)
• This is a temp to perm position for the right candidate
• Working with older adults (Aged 55 +)
• Based in Romford
• Previous Sheltered or supported Housing Experience is ideal.
