Job summary

BDS Recruitment are seeking an ongoing Sheltered Housing Scheme Manager to cover a patch of bungalow properties in Chadderton. The role requires Enhanced DBS within 12 months or via the Update Service and is 36 hours per week.

You will communicate daily with residents who live independently, assess their daily needs, assist with tenancy signups, wellbeing checks, health and safety, and fire safety compliance, reporting repairs to ensure a safe environment for vulnerable residents.

Qualifications

• Must have Enhanced DBS check within the last 12 months or enrolled on the Update Service.
• Experience in sheltered or supported housing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily communication with residents across dispersed bungalow properties.
• Assess residents' daily needs and support tenancy signups.
• Conduct wellbeing checks and health and safety duties.
• Ensure fire safety compliance, report repairs, and maintain a safe environment for vulnerable residents.

BDS Recruitment are looking to recruit for an ongoing position as a Sheltered Housing Scheme Manager to work across as patch of bungalow properties in the Chadderton area.

YOU MUST HAVE ENHANCED DBS FROM THE LAST 12 MONTHS OR ON THE UPDATE SERVICE

The main role is to provide daily communication with the residents who live independently across the dispersed properties.

You will be responsible for assessing resident’s daily needs.

Other duties include assisting with tenancy signups, wellbeing checks, health and safety, ensuring fire safety compliance, reporting repairs and ensuring safe environment for vulnerable residents.

Previous experience within a sheltered or supported housing position is preferable.

This role is 36 hours per week.

Pay rate- Up to £15.92ph PAYE or up to £20.56ph UMBRELLA
