Job summary

BDS Recruitment in Darlington is seeking a Sheltered Housing Scheme Advisor for a temporary ongoing role starting ASAP. The position is 25 hours per week, delivered between 8:30am and 1:30pm, Monday to Friday, with pay rates of £15.95 per hour PAYE or £20.43 per hour Umbrella.

The role involves daily communication with residents, assessing daily needs, signposting information, welfare and health and safety checks, and reporting any maintenance requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a sheltered or supported housing environment.
• Good IT skills.
• Understanding of tenancies.
• Enhanced DBS check within the last 12 months or on the update service.

Here at BDS Recruitment we are looking to recruit a sheltered Housing Scheme Advisors in Darlington.

The main role is to provide daily communication with the residents, who live independently within the Scheme, and you will be responsible for assessing resident s daily needs and sign posting information.

There will also be regular welfare checks, health and safety checks on the building and reporting and overseeing any maintenance required.

Criteria:

• Previous experience working in a sheltered or supported housing environment
