Job summary

Darlington Borough Council is seeking a Lifeline Scheme Manager to support residents in sheltered and extra care complexes. You will carry out building management tasks, monitor safety, respond to emergencies, and engage tenants and carers with clear, compassionate communication.

A can-do, approachable attitude, strong organisation, and GDPR understanding are essential. A background in customer-facing roles with older people is advantageous; access to training and pension benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• Be approachable with a 'can do' attitude and communicate effectively across a broad range of audiences.
• Responsibilities include building management: monitoring legionella, fire, repairs, site safety.
• Carrying out daily calls, visits, responding to emergency calls, and planning events.
• GDPR understanding to meet administrative requirements.
