Job summary

New Appointments Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join its Staplehurst production team. The role involves producing high-quality sheet metal components to customer specifications in a modern facility.

Key duties include bending, forming, fabricating and finishing, reading drawings, deburring and drilling, spot welding and ensuring work meets ISO 9001 quality standards. Experience in sheet metal fabrication and TIG welding is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in sheet metal fabrication or fine limit sheet metal work.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience with fabrication and sheet metal assemblies.
• Competence in deburring, drilling and spot welding.
• Experience working within an ISO 9001 manufacturing environment.
• TIG welding experience is desirable.
• LVD CNC press brake experience.
• Power rollers or guillotine experience.

Responsibilities

Are you an experienced Sheet Metal Worker looking to join a growing manufacturing business with a reputation for engineering excellence?

Our client is a specialist manufacturer supplying bespoke products to customers across the UK and internationally. Due to continued growth and investment, they are looking to recruit a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join their established production team in Staplehurst.

The Role

Working within a modern manufacturing facility, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality sheet metal components to customer specifications, ensuring accuracy, quality and efficiency throughout the manufacturing process.

• Bending, forming, fabricating and finishing sheet metal components
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Deburring, drilling and carrying out general sheet metal duties
