KHR - Recruitment Specialists is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker in Marden, Kent. The role involves producing precision sheet metal components to exact specifications within a modern manufacturing environment.

You will join a busy team focused on quality, craftsmanship and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has proven sheet metal experience, the ability to read drawings, and a keen eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with fine limit sheet metal.
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and assembly processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience with deburring, drilling and spot welding; familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Bend, form, fabricate and finish sheet metal components.
• Manufacture parts to customer specifications and engineering drawings.
• Deburr, drill and assemble fabricated components.
• Carry out spot welding on bespoke products when required.
• Ensure work meets high-quality standards and production deadlines.
• Work safely and maintain excellent housekeeping standards.

Sheet Metal Worker

Location: Marden, Kent
Salary: £28,000 to £38,000 plus bonus and overtime
Hours: Monday to Friday 0800 to 1700, Permanent

The Role

As a Sheet Metal Worker, you’ll be responsible for producing precision sheet metal components to exact specifications. Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Bending, forming, fabricating and finishing sheet metal components.
• Manufacturing parts to customer specifications and engineering drawings.
• Deburring, drilling and assembling fabricated components.
• Carrying out spot welding on bespoke products when required.
• Ensuring all work meets high-quality standards and production deadlines.
• Working safely and maintaining excellent housekeeping standards.

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

• Proven experience working with fine limit sheet metal.
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and assembly processes.
• The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience with deburring, drilling and spot welding.Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems.
• A keen eye for detail and pride in producing high-quality work.

Experience with any of the following would be an advantage:

• LVD CNC Press Brake
• Power-assisted rollers
• Power guillotines
• TIG welding
