Job summary

New Appointments Group is recruiting a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join a growing manufacturing business in Staplehurst, Kent. You will produce high-quality sheet metal components to customer specifications within a modern facility.

The role requires experience in sheet metal fabrication, ability to read engineering drawings, and competence in deburring, drilling and spot welding. A background in ISO 9001 manufacturing is preferred, with various desirable welding and press brake skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication or fine limit sheet metal work.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience with fabrication and sheet metal assemblies.
• Competence in deburring, drilling and spot welding.
• Experience working within an ISO 9001 manufacturing environment.

Are you an experienced Sheet Metal Worker looking to join a growing manufacturing business with a reputation for engineering excellence?

Our client is a specialist manufacturer supplying bespoke products to customers across the UK and internationally. Due to continued growth and investment, they are looking to recruit a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join their established production team in Staplehurst.

The Role

Working within a modern manufacturing facility, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality sheet metal components to customer specifications, ensuring accuracy, quality and efficiency throughout the manufacturing process.

Key responsibilities include:

• Bending, forming, fabricating and finishing sheet metal components
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Deburring, drilling and carrying out general sheet metal duties
• Spot welding components where required
• Producing work to high quality standards and customer specifications
• Working safely within ISO 9001 quality procedures

We're looking for someone with:
