Job summary

Elix Sourcing Solutions is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join a clean, modern workshop in Mid Kent. The role focuses on fine-limit fabrication from engineering drawings, delivering precise sub-assemblies for high-precision components.

You will operate CNC press brakes (LVD systems), guillotines, and powered rollers, reading drawings confidently and spotting-tolerances accurately. Monday–Friday, day shifts with overtime and benefits included.

Qualifications

• Proven fine-limit sheet metal fabrication experience.
• Confident reading engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision sheet metal operations including bending, forming, assembly, drilling, deburring, and spot welding.
• Operate CNC press brakes (LVD), guillotines and powered rollers.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to produce high-precision sub-assemblies.

Location: Mid Kent (Commutable from Maidstone, Staplehurst, Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks, Ashford)

£30,00 - £33,500 + Overtime + Benefits

Monday to Friday | No Weekend Shifts

This is a great role for a Sheet Metal Worker with fine-limit experience seeking a stable, day-based position within a modern, well-equipped facility.

The Role:

• Precision sheet metal operations covering bending, forming, assembly, drilling, deburring, and spot welding

• Operating CNC Press Brakes (particularly LVD systems), guillotines, and powered rollers

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to produce high-precision sub-assemblies

The Candidate:

• Proven fine-limit sheet metal fabrication experience

• Confident reading engineering drawings independently

• Experience operating CNC Press Brakes, guillotines, or powered rollers (TIG welding is a bonus)
