Job summary

MBDA is seeking a dynamic Safety, Health & Environmental Manager to join the Henlow site. You will support management and employees on-site to ensure MBDA SHE policies are effectively implemented and to develop a culture of continual improvement in safety, health and environment.

The role may involve travel to other MBDA UK locations. We require a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (level 6 preferred) and significant SHE experience in manufacturing, plus knowledge of health and safety

Qualifications

• SHE role in a manufacturing environment with strong safety culture.
• Solid knowledge of health and safety laws and their practical application.
• Ability to influence employees at all levels and translate complex information.
• Experience working in a team and also independently to drive improvements.
• Desirable experience in COMAH facilities or similar high-hazard settings.

Responsibilities

• Support management and employees on-site to ensure MBDA SHE policies are implemented.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Facility Management, Security & Explosive Safety.
• Contribute to continual improvement of SHE culture across the site.
• Role may involve travel to other MBDA UK locations.
