Job summary

MBDA is seeking a dynamic Safety, Health & Environmental Manager for the Henlow site to lead and implement company SHE policies across manufacturing and related roles.

You will work with Manufacturing, Facility Management, Security and Explosive Safety to promote a robust SHE culture, conduct risk assessments and support compliance, while developing the team’s capabilities and contributing to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (level 6 preferred).
• Significant experience in Safety, Health and Environment in manufacturing.
• Broad understanding of manufacturing and laboratory technologies.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation relevant to MBDA operations.
• Experience in a COMAH facility advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support management and employees to implement MBDA SHE policies.
• Develop a culture of continual SHE improvement across departments.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Facility Management, Security and Explosive Safety.
• Assist in risk assessments, incident investigations and regulatory compliance.
