Job summary

Selwood, part of The Workdry International Group, is seeking a Health & Safety professional to lead SHE across multiple branches in England, Wales and Scotland. The role focuses on compliance with ISO requirements, risk management, audits, incident investigations, and fostering a strong SHE culture across Leeds, Hull, Conwy, Nottingham and Birmingham.

You will partner with senior stakeholders to deliver safe, sustainable, and legally compliant operations, driving improvements and ensuring

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent safety qualification.
• IEMA qualification or significant environmental management experience.
• ISO 14001 Lead Auditor certification preferred.
• IOSH or IEMA membership desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure ISO requirements compliance across designated area.
• Develop and maintain SHE policies, procedures and risk assessments.
• Ensure statutory obligations are met including training and reporting.
• Conduct regular audits and site inspections to uphold SHE standards.
• Lead on incident investigations with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Communicate SHE updates, train and mentor staff across sites.
• Support environmental reporting and regulatory compliance.
