Job summary
Babcock is seeking a SHE Advisor at Devonport Royal Dockyard to provide assurance, governance and specialist health and safety advice across operations.
You will conduct audits, identify compliance issues, produce reports and support the deployment of health, safety and environmental management systems while engaging with managers, suppliers and regulators to promote safe working practices.
Qualifications
- Experience auditing health and safety in complex operations.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and contracts.
- Ability to produce audit reports and management information.
- Experience engaging with external authorities such as the HSE and fire services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct health and safety audits across a range of operations and suppliers.
- Identify compliance and non-compliance issues and provide clear feedback and improvements.
- Produce audit reports and management information to support decision-making.
- Support deployment and continual improvement of health, safety and environmental management systems.
- Engage with managers, employees, suppliers, partners and regulatory bodies to promote safe practices.
