Job summary

Babcock International seeks a SHE Advisor to provide assurance, governance and health and safety advice across Devonport Royal Dockyard and other Babcock sites. The role supports safe, compliant delivery in a defence/engineering environment.

Based at Plymouth, it requires NEBOSH Construction Certificate experience auditing complex operations; SC security clearance is required. The role is full-time, on-site with a strong benefits package and 35 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting health and safety audits in complex operations.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and contractual requirements.
• Ability to produce audit reports and management information.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health and safety audits across operations and suppliers.
• Identify compliance issues and recommend improvements.
• Produce audit reports and management information.
• Support deployment and continual improvement of health, safety and environmental systems.
• Engage with managers, employees, suppliers and regulators to promote safe practices.
