Job summary

East Sussex County Council in Eastbourne seeks a Shared Lives Officer to assess providers and adults in Shared Lives placements, conduct visits, risk assessments and reviews, and present assessments at independent panels. You will manage a caseload to develop providers and ensure high quality care in line with CQC standards.

The role requires strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work autonomously within a dynamic team and use Microsoft Office proficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience in assessing providers and people for placements.
• Ability to undertake support and monitoring visits and risk assessments.
• Experience presenting assessments at independent panels.

• Manage caseload to support development and wellbeing in placements.
• Ensure service complies with Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards.
