An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 2 Receptionist role at our Stoke Sexual Health services. The role is part‑time, 30 hours a week.

The post holder will support service users to access all aspects of the provision available from the Integrated Sexual Health Service, and provide support to the Customer Services Supervisor regarding customer service for service users.

The post holder will maintain patient/client records in accordance with Information Management policies, updating demographics and clinic details on the Inform system where necessary. Paper clinical records may need to be prepared, retrieved and filed for some services and ensuring compliance on filing, retention and destruction, including scanning and archiving where appropriate.

Job Responsibilities
  • Providing a full range of customer service duties
  • Acting as the first point of contact for all service users and carers
  • Meeting and greeting service users and supporting their access to self‑managed care options
  • Managing telephone service to all service users, booking appointments using the Inform EPR system and signposting to other spokes and services
  • Taking other phone calls, accurately recording messages, and ensuring they are passed on appropriately
  • Supporting the closure of clinical venues with nursing staff, if working at a clinic location as necessary
  • Providing general administrative support to the ISH Service as directed by the Service Support Manager
