Construction & Trades is seeking a skilled Setting-Out Engineer to join our site team in the United Kingdom. You will establish and maintain grid lines, benchmarks, datums, and control points, and operate Total Station and GPS/GNSS equipment to verify line, level and tolerances.

You will read engineering drawings, produce as-built surveys, and coordinate with subcontractors and site management to ensure works progress on time and to specification.

Competenze

• Strong practical setting-out and surveying experience.
• Experience with groundworks, foundations and reinforced concrete.
• Confident use of Total Station equipment.
• Experience with GPS/GNSS is advantageous.
• Ability to read and understand engineering and construction drawings.
• Residential, commercial, civil engineering or general construction experience welcome.
• Willingness to commute or relocate, if necessary.
• Has the right to work in the UK.

• Set out foundations, groundworks, RC structures, slabs, steelwork, and external works.
• Establish and maintain grid lines, benchmarks, datums, and control points.
• Operate Total Station, GPS/GNSS, and surveying equipment.
• Carry out accurate line, level, alignment, and tolerance checks.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical information.
• Produce as-built surveys, quality records, and site documentation.
• Identify discrepancies between drawings and site conditions and communicate them to the relevant teams.

• Support the delivery of works in accordance with programme, quality, and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate engineering and surveying records throughout the project.
