Job summary

TLG Infrastructure are currently recruiting for a Setting Out Engineer to work on a major contractor's projects in Central London. The role involves setting out from drawings, maintaining control points, and performing precise surveying using total stations and GPS.

Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, ensuring quality and safety standards, and providing site support to subcontractors. The setting out engineer will also perform as-built surveys and document site work comprehensively.

Qualifications

• Experience setting out construction works from drawings and specs.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings accurately.
• Proven surveying experience with total stations and GPS devices.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance.

TLG Infrastructure are currently recruiting for a Setting Out Engineer to work for a leading contractor with multiple projects in Central London.

Their projects can range from £10M - £70M involving full build construction from demolition, basement construction and construction of RC Frame.

Setting Out Engineer responsibilities:

• Set out construction works accurately from drawings and specifications.
• Establish and maintain site control points and benchmarks.
• Carry out surveying using total stations, GPS and other equipment.
• Check levels, dimensions, lines and positions on site.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
