Job summary

Van Elle is recruiting Setting Out Engineers for its UK-based geotechnical and ground engineering work. You will set out piles and beams on site, level and survey, and liaise with engineers to ensure drawings are accurate and followed.

The role demands strong numeracy, data interpretation, and proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office. Expect a permanent position with standard hours and opportunities for onsite training; CSCS card and UK driving licence are desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in setting out, surveying and construction procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office apps; ability to interpret data.
• Auto CAD experience.
• CSCS card required.

Responsibilities

• Set out piles and beams on site and record as-builds, reporting discrepancies.
• Set out, level and survey on site.
• Liaise between engineers and construction team to ensure drawings are accurate.
• Provide reinforced concrete setting-out support to the team.
