Job summary

ScrewFast Foundations Limited is recruiting a Setting Out Engineer to join our on-site surveying team. You will set out piles and beams, level surfaces, and ensure drawings align with on-site reality. You’ll liaise with engineers and the construction crew to maintain accuracy and support QA processes.

Role requires setting-out, surveying, and data interpretation with strong communication. A CSCS card and AutoCAD experience are preferred; travel and flexibility expected.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Numeracy and ability to perform calculations.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and surveying tools.

Responsibilities

• Set out piles and beams on site and record as-built discrepancies.
• Set out, leveling and surveying on site.
• Liaise between engineers and construction teams to ensure plans are accurate.
• Provide setting-out support to the team and supply QA records.
• Co-ordinate layouts with site drawings and manage own time across sites.
