Job summary

Vital Human Resources is seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer to support two major foundation projects at Ilford Depot. The role involves setting out for foundations and civils, supporting piling operations and monitoring reinforced concrete works, while coordinating with site teams and managers to ensure the works meet specification.

This position requires proven experience in complex reinforced concrete projects and large foundation schemes, with a strong ability to work in busy

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Setting Out Engineer or Site Engineer.
• Strong background in complex reinforced concrete works.
• Experience on large foundation projects.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and monitoring reinforced concrete structures.

Hours: Monday to Friday, initially 8 hour days then site will likely operate to 10 hours once the work properly starts

Day Rate: Inside IR35 (umbrella)

Essential Experience

• Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer or Site Engineer.
• Strong background in complex reinforced concrete works.
• Experience working on large foundation projects.

Knowledge of:

• Piling
• Shuttering/Formwork
• Concrete pours
• Reinforcement works
• Experience working on major civils, infrastructure or industrial projects.
• Ability to work in busy environments with heavy plant and vehicle movements
