Romans Recruitment Group Ltd is seeking a Site Setting Out Engineer for a long-term civil engineering project in Harlow. The role offers a clear career path and ongoing training within a growing firm.

The position is full-time and permanent with a salary of £50,000 - £60,000 per year, DOE. Candidates will manage control networks, setting out information, and liaise with project teams.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering degree, HND/HNC or equivalent qualification.
• Previous setting out experience within civil engineering projects.
• Strong surveying and engineering background.
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D, Microsoft Office, Leica Total Stations, GNSS equipment and levelling equipment.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsabilités

• Establish, maintain and manage the site's primary control network.
• Produce and deliver accurate setting out information and site surveys.
• Ensure works are completed to a high standard, minimising defects and snagging.
• Provide technical support and guidance to site teams where required.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and quality on site.
• Assist with day-to-day site management responsibilities.
• Attend site meetings and provide progress updates.
• Liaise closely with Project Managers and other key stakeholders.

Site Setting Out Engineer

Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit an ambitious Site Setting Out Engineer to join an established project team on a long-term civil engineering development in Harlow.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain and manage the site's primary control network.

Requirements

Essential

• Civil Engineering degree, HND/HNC, or equivalent qualification.

Desirable

• Experience using Trimble GPS modelling systems.
• CSCS Card.
• SMSTS or SSSTS.
• First Aid qualification.
• TWS/TWC certification.
• CSCS Gold Card or above.
• Confined Spaces certification.
