Job summary

Loughborough College Group is recruiting a Kitchen Assistant to join the team at Radmoor restaurant, located on campus. The role involves assisting chef lecturers, supporting with stock deliveries, laundry and waste disposal, and maintaining high hygiene standards in a busy kitchen environment.

The successful candidate will have a current level 2 food safety certificate (or be willing to obtain one) and prior kitchen assistant experience in a commercial setting.

Qualifications

• Up-to-date food safety certificate Level 2 or willingness to undertake.
• Previous kitchen assistant experience in a commercial environment.
• Be an organised and calm individual with good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day cleaning duties in the kitchen areas.
• Support kitchen operations: stock deliveries, laundry, waste disposal, and hygiene.
• Maintain cleanliness by washing and sanitising pots, pans, utensils and equipment.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Loughborough College Group, based at Radmoor restaurant, which is located at Loughborough College.

Responsibilities of this role include:

• Support chef lecturers and stores assistant in the day-to-day cleaning duties in the kitchen areas

What we are looking for:

• Possess an Up-to-date food safety certificate at level 2 or be willing to undertake
• Previous kitchen assistant experience gained in a commercial environment
• Be an organised and calm individual with good interpersonal skills
