Job summary

Loughborough College Group is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support chef lecturers and the stores team with daily cleaning tasks in kitchen areas. You will assist with stock deliveries, laundry, waste disposal, and maintain a hygienic environment to ensure high hygiene standards.

An up-to-date Level 2 Food Safety Certificate is required, or willingness to undertake training. The role requires prior kitchen assistant experience in a commercial setting and being an organised, calm individual with

Responsibilities

• Support chef lecturers and stores assistant in day-to-day cleaning in kitchen areas.

• Maintain cleanliness by washing and sanitising pots, pans, utensils and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards.

• Support kitchen operations: Stock deliveries, laundry, assisting with waste disposal, and ensuring a hygienic environment.
• Maintain cleanliness: Wash and sanitize pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standard
• Possess an Up-to-date food safety certificate at level 2 or be willing to undertake
• Previous kitchen assistant experience gained in a commercial environment
• Be an organised and calm individual with good interpersonal skills
