Job summary

Loughborough College Group is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join the team at the Radmoor restaurant, located at Loughborough College. You will support chef lecturers and assist with daily cleaning, stock deliveries and waste disposal to keep a hygienic kitchen environment.

The role requires an up-to-date Level 2 food safety certificate or willingness to obtain one, plus prior kitchen experience. On-site parking, nursery fees subsidised, maternity/paternity pay and CPD opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• Up-to-date food safety certificate Level 2 or willing to undertake.
• Previous kitchen assistant experience in a commercial environment.
• Organised and calm individual with good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support chef lecturers and stores assistant in the day-to-day cleaning duties in the kitchen areas.
• Support kitchen operations: stock deliveries, laundry, waste disposal, and ensuring a hygienic environment.
• Maintain cleanliness: wash and sanitize pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standard.
