Job summary

Loughborough College Group is seeking a Kitchen Assistant for Radmoor restaurant, based at Loughborough College. You will support chef lecturers and stores staff with daily cleaning, assist with stock deliveries, laundry, waste disposal and maintain a hygienic kitchen environment.

The role requires an up-to-date Level 2 food safety certificate or willingness to obtain one, prior kitchen experience in a commercial setting, and a calm, organized approach with good interpersonal skills.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Loughborough College Group, based at Radmoor restaurant, which is located at Loughborough College.

Responsibilities of this role include:

• Support chef lecturers and stores assistant in the day-to-day cleaning duties in the kitchen areas
• Support kitchen operations: Stock deliveries, laundry, assisting with waste disposal, and ensuring a hygienic environment.
• Maintain cleanliness: Wash and sanitize pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standard

What we are looking for:

• Possess an Up-to-date food safety certificate at level 2 or be willing to undertake
• Previous kitchen assistant experience gained in a commercial environment
• Be an organised and calm individual with good interpersonal skills
