Sammons Group is seeking a Service Vending Engineer to cover the Southampton and Portsmouth area. This hands-on role combines field-based work with time in an on-site workshop, servicing, maintaining and repairing vending machines.

The ideal candidate will have vending experience, strong fault-finding skills and a practical approach to resolving issues. You will work independently in the field and in a workshop, and hold a full UK driving licence.

• Previous experience as a Vending Engineer is essential.
• Strong knowledge of vending machine maintenance, servicing and repairs.
• Confident fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a field-based workload.
• Comfortable working both on customer sites and in a workshop.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on vending machines and associated equipment.
• Attend customer sites across the Southampton and Portsmouth area to investigate and resolve equipment issues.
• Diagnose faults and identify appropriate repair solutions.
• Complete workshop-based maintenance, repairs and equipment checks.
• Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Ensure vending equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and any repairs required.
• Keep tools and equipment in good working order.
• Liaise professionally with customers and colleagues to resolve technical issues.
• Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised working environment.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Vending Engineer to join a team covering the Southampton and Portsmouth area. This is a varied, hands-on role combining field-based work with time spent in an on-site workshop. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing vending machines, diagnosing faults and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with vending machines, strong fault-finding skills and a practical approach to resolving technical issues. You will need to be comfortable working independently out in the field as well as alongside colleagues in a workshop environment.
