Job summary

Marshall Mercedes-Benz of Southampton is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join the aftersales team. You’ll service and maintain a range of vehicles, perform diagnostic and repair work, and document tasks with digital write-ups and job cards.

The role offers state-of-the-art facilities, manufacturer training, and clear development paths within Marshall Motor Group. A Level 3 qualification and a proactive, safety‑minded attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Experience as a Service Technician/Mechanic, ideally with warranty and servicing exposure.
• MOT Licence is a plus; training available if not yet qualified.
• Strong teamwork and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance on a range of vehicles, including diagnostic and repair work.
• Handle a variety of maintenance tasks, from oil changes to cambelt changes with digital write-ups.
• Conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in line with Marshall standards.
