Job summary

LSH Auto is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician to join our Whitefield dealership. You will service, inspect and repair vehicles, diagnose faults, and identify required additional work to meet our high prep standards.

The role involves working with a diverse range of technologies, including hybrid and fully electric vehicles. You will maintain records, collaborate with team members, and uphold a safe, professional workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Vehicle Technician or similar automotive role.
• Good practical understanding of servicing, maintenance and repair.
• Strong attention to detail and quality work.
• Willingness to learn as vehicle technology evolves.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance, inspection and repair.

• Carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance, inspection and repair.
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs accurately and efficiently.
• Identifying additional work required to ensure vehicles meet our preparation standards.
• Working across an increasingly diverse range of vehicle technologies, including hybrid and fully electric vehicles.
• Maintaining accurate records of work completed.
• Working closely with colleagues across the Preparation Centre to help vehicles progress efficiently through the preparation process.
• Maintaining a safe, clean and professional working environment. We're interested in technicians with practical automotive experience and, just as importantly, the attitude and ambition to continue developing.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Previous professional experience working as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar automotive maintenance or repair role.
• A good practical understanding of vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work.
• A willingness to learn and develop as vehicle technology continues to evolve.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A full UK driving licence.

An NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or equivalent qualification, is essential.
